Subaru Natsuki is suddenly summoned to a fantasy world on his way home from a convenience store. He quickly discovers that he has a unique ability: “Return by Death,” which allows him to rewind time upon dying. Teaming up with a silver-haired half-elf named Emilia, Subaru uses his power to survive deadly encounters with assassins, magical beasts, and the Witch Cult. Through repeated cycles of death and despair, he forms bonds with Emilia, the twin maids Rem and Ram, and others, struggling to protect those he cares about while uncovering the dark secrets of this new world.
